Turkish citizens are sending a deafening message to Tayyip Erdogan with the ratification of the presidential candidacy of the arrested mayor, Ekrem Iimoglou, despite the announcement of his charter by the interior ministry. Near the twenty million Turkish citizens voted in favor of Imamoglou, Ankara Mayor Mansour Yavas announced.

However, the prosecutor has decided to appeal to the judge’s decision by which the Mayor of Constantinople is found to be in custody only for the charges of corruption and not for the charges of terrorism.
The Republican People’s Party (CHP) will initiate the procedures for appealing Imamoglu, as announced by party leader Ozgur Ozel.
The question is whether the prosecutor’s appeal will overthrow the original court ruling and will eventually pave the way for committees to the Metropolitan Municipality of Constantinople.
